Danielle Rosvally, Ph.D., is an actor, dramaturge, text coach, academic, and fight director. Her research on nineteenth century New York theatre-makers and their quest to make a viable economic commodity out of William Shakespeare was the focus of her Ph.D. at Tufts University’s Department of Dance and Drama. Her work has a heavy digital humanities bent, and she is constantly looking to incorporate digital methodologies into her research.
Danielle holds a BA from New York University, and an MA from Rutgers University. She has trained as an actor at the American Globe Theatre, The Actor’s Institute, The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, The Royal Shakespeare Company, and Shakespeare & Company. Danielle is currently based in Boston and works as a project coordinator for the Folger Shakespeare Library’s digital division.
